Protecting Clyde Muirshiel's
Hen Harriers

Scottish Natural Heritage

Information Evening
Tuesday 2nd August.
Wemyss Bay Community Centre.
Doors open 7.00pm with tea & coffee, starts 7.30pm.

An area within the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park supports a very important population of hen harriers, one of the least known but most vulnerable birds of prey in Britain and Europe. An area in the north of the park is consequently proposed as a Special Protection Area and Site of Special Scientific Interest for this species.

  • Wemyss Bay - Tues. 2nd August.
    Wemyss Bay Community Centre.
  • Lochwinnoch - Thur. 4th August.
    McKillop Institute, Lesser Hall.
  • Largs - Tues. 9th August.
    Vikingar, Douglas Room.
  • Kilmacolm - Wed. 10th August.
    Kilmacolm Village Centre.
