Five Ardgowan Thistle Boys sign for Morton

Five ATFC U12 boys signed for Morton in the boardroom at Cappielow last night. In front of Douglas Rae and Mark McNally the five boys Andrew Wilson, Callum Irving, Donald Watt, Aiden Ferguson and Patrick McCartney all signed for Morton U13's Pro Youth team next season with their parents looking on.

From 1st of July the boys will be part of the Morton set up and will start on the long road to hopefully becoming a professional footballer.

Declan Tinney also signed last night, Declan was at Ardgowan last year and signed for St Mirren then,but now has signed for Morton.

Ardgowan Football Development are proud of all six boys and wish them well in the coming season. It is great to see young local talent being given the chance to prove themselves at a higher level and hope to see the skills that they have learned over the years at AFD set them on their way to a successful future in our national game.
